The beef herd at Pine Knob began over a decade ago with Hereford heifers. Herefords were the cattle of the Old West.

Land Management

The “Driftless Region” of Wisconsin–this part of the state beyond the reach of the last grinding glaciers–has a rolling topography of hills and valleys.


I’m not much of a recipe cook but I do have advice to give on cooking various cuts of lamb and beef. By all means, if you have a recipe to share, send it!
